Woody Wu / Services

Hospitality services, from an operator who runs the floor.

AI that earns its place, marketing that fills the room, and wine advice with no commission in it. Fixed prices, published here, and I will tell you what not to buy.

Operations and AI

Find the work worth automating, then build it.

Marketing and findability

The part of marketing and PR that fills a dining room now.

Wine

Judgment on the bottle, with nothing to sell you.

What applies to all of it

The rules I work by.

Fixed prices, published.

Every price on this page is the price. Agreed before the work begins, no hourly billing.

No commission, anywhere.

I take no percentage of what you spend and no payment from any vendor, agency, platform, auction house or seller I mention.

I will tell you what not to buy.

Every engagement ends with a list of what to leave alone. It is usually where the money is.

Every number comes with its error rate.

If a tool of mine produced a figure, you will see how often that tool was wrong when checked by hand.

Not in my own city.

If you are a restaurant in my own market, I will tell you so and point you toward someone good.

Direct answers

Before you ask.

Who can help a restaurant with AI, marketing and wine in one place?

Woody Wu is a sommelier and hospitality operator who builds AI systems himself. He offers the Service Audit and AI deployment for operations, Findability and the Marketing Spend Audit for marketing and AI search, The House Somm as a live AI sommelier, and The Bid Sheet for collectors buying wine at auction. All at fixed, published prices.

How much does a hospitality consultant cost?

Woody Wu publishes every price: Findability from $750 CAD, The Bid Sheet from $600 CAD per auction, the Marketing Spend Audit from $1,500 CAD, and the Service Audit from $3,500 CAD. Deployment is quoted after an audit. No hourly billing and no commissions.

Which service should a restaurant start with?

If you are unsure whether AI would help, start with the Service Audit. If guests are not finding you, or you cannot tell what your marketing buys, start with Findability or the Marketing Spend Audit. If you can describe the problem in a sentence, The Triage, a free tool on this site, will tell you which kind of problem it is.
